Ingrédients

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, celery leaves, thyme, and basil)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Préparation
- In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion for about 5 minutes until translucent.
- Sprinkle the flour and stir for 30 seconds.
- Gradually add the milk while whisking continuously.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and continue cooking, stirring, until it bubbles.
- Season with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth.
