Description

Delicious and flavorful sticky orange chicken drumsticks that will elevate your cooking game.


Ingrédients

ÉCHELLE
  • 8 drumsticks
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 minced garlic clove

Préparation

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a large Ziploc bag or dish. Add the drumsticks and coat well.
  2. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the drumsticks. Season with a bit of pepper and a pinch of salt.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes to allow the chicken to absorb all the flavors.
  6. Remove from oven and brush with half of the glaze. Return to oven for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Prepare the glaze by combining all glaze ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then simmer until reduced by 1/3.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate overnight if possible. You can substitute mustard with honey and balsamic vinegar with lemon juice if needed.
