- 12 lasagna noodles
- 450 g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 680 g marinara sauce
- 425 g ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Préparation
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with remaining meat sauce and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Allowing the lasagna to cool is crucial for cleaner slices. You can prepare it a day in advance and refrigerate for even better flavor.
