Description
Tender pulled chicken in a savory sauce, served over creamy mashed potatoes, perfect for impressing family and friends.
Ingrédients

- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 250 ml chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon herbs de Provence
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 kg potatoes
- 50 g butter
- 150 ml milk
- A pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Préparation
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chicken, chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, and herbs de Provence. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling them in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Serve the mashed potatoes on plates, topped with the pulled chicken and drizzled with sauce.
Notes
For a cheesy touch, add grated cheese on top and broil before serving.
