Description

Tender pulled chicken in a savory sauce, served over creamy mashed potatoes, perfect for impressing family and friends.


Ingrédients

ÉCHELLE
  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 250 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon herbs de Provence
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 50 g butter
  • 150 ml milk
  • A pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Préparation

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken, chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, and herbs de Provence. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling them in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Serve the mashed potatoes on plates, topped with the pulled chicken and drizzled with sauce.

Notes

For a cheesy touch, add grated cheese on top and broil before serving.
